Carbon Footprint Reduction
At Lives, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to create high-quality products that not only inspire but also contribute to a healthier planet. We envision a future where fashion and environmental stewardship go hand in hand, ensuring a better world for generations to come.
Reducing our carbon footprint is a natural extension of our core values—responsibility, innovation, and care. From sourcing eco-friendly materials to implementing energy-efficient practices, every decision we make is guided by our dedication to preserving the environment while delivering excellence. At Lives, sustainability isn't just a goal; it's a way of life.
Carbon Footprint Reduction Certification
Achieved for meeting rigorous standards in carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable practices.
Key Initiatives
Energy Efficiency
We’ve upgraded our factory to incorporate energy-efficient technologies, including replacing all traditional lighting with LED lights. This change significantly reduces our energy consumption, as LED lights use up to 75% less energy compared to conventional lighting systems. By implementing these advancements, we minimize our environmental impact while upholding our commitment to exceptional production standards.
Carbon Footprint
We are actively working to measure, reduce, and offset our carbon emissions. In partnership with the Ministry of Environment, we have begun the process to obtain our Carbon Footprint Certification, which marks a key step in our long-term commitment to climate responsibility. By tracking our emissions, we aim to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies that lead to measurable reductions across our operations.
Waste Reduction
We actively minimize waste through rigorous recycling programs and a commitment to low-waste production processes. By maximizing fabric use during cutting and sewing, we reduce material sent to landfills—helping to avoid methane emissions and the need for additional raw materials. In 2024, we implemented a targeted project that successfully reduced our textile waste from 15% to 3%, marking a significant step toward our goal of zero-waste manufacturing.
